I’m a Veteran

Learn skills. Build community. Support Veterans.

Service projects organized by school groups, extracurricular organizations, and more are a great way for young people to learn skills while supporting Veterans. From building outdoor chairs for our residents to creating artwork for our tiny homes and much more, we welcome their energy and impact. To get started with planning a service project, please get in touch with us.

For her Girl Scout Silver Award project, Clarissa cultivated mini peace plants and herbs, which now brighten the windowsills of the tiny homes in our Village at VCP of Longmont.

Thank you, Clarissa, for your generosity and for making a difference in the lives of those who have served.

How high school students built the dignity of home

Students in a woodshop class at Center High School in Kansas City donated handmade Adirondack chairs to help Veterans at VCP of Kansas City enjoy the outdoors and get to know their neighbors in the Village.

Other groups have hosted snack bag packing parties, helped to beautify Villages, collected goods to donate to Veterans, and more.
